Delamina’s eastern Mediterranean menu is inspired by the owners’ heritage and their passion for healthy eating. The chefs rely on grilling and roasting, and use herbs and spices to celebrate raw ingredients. Having started as a pop-up at Shoreditch House called Strut & Cluck, the restaurant continues to showcase turkey and vegetarian dishes with a focus on spices from Lebanon, Turkey and Israel.
Breakfast dishes are centred around eggs and pita bread, with customer favourites such as the fried egg on hand-pulled turkey shawarma, green shakshuka and pita paradise (with mascarpone, honey, nuts and seasonal fruit). Delamina East also offers drinks for all occasions, from celebratory Bellinis to relaxing teas and refreshing juices.
The bright and modern space has an eclectic look, combining various styles of pendant lights, furniture and flooring. The colourful accents inside match the signature green shopfront and the room is decorated with large round mirrors and greenery hung from the ceiling. Delamina East also has a private dining music room decorated with pastel colours, natural materials and an extensive collection of vintage radios. The relaxing ambiance can be personalised by playing your choice of vinyls on the turntable.
