Maggie’s is a family-run greasy spoon in the centre of Lewisham that offers their guests an Irish welcome and cheap hearty meals. The all-day breakfast menu consists of classic fry ups, with the possibility of creating your own full English from over 20 items, including bacon, fried onions, chips and bubble and squeak. The restaurant has been open since 1983 and maintains its vintage charm. There are two dining rooms with different looks; one features yellow and green booth seating, exposed brick walls and framed black and white pictures, while the other is furnished with vintage tables and decorated with colourful tiles and flowerpots. The seating area in front of the green and yellow shopfront is sheltered by the pergola which proudly boasts Maggie’s name. Regardless of where you sit, the atmosphere is warm and friendly, with Maggie herself often greeting customers and taking orders.
