The Good Egg brings together global Jewish influences in their menus. Breakfast favourites include the shakshuka with preserved lemon yoghurt, sourdough toast and either crispy halloumi or spicy hogget merguez, as well as the sabih and any bagel they are currently serving. The Insta-famous babka is also a must-order, whether it’s to eat-in or take away, freshly made from their in-house bakery.

Pair breakfast and brunch with a fresh juice, coffee, or ‘Red Hot’ – the pastrami-spiced Bloody Mary.

The interior and decor reflect a mix of North American and Middle Eastern culture. Central to the restaurant’s cosy vibe are a clay oven and a long open kitchen bar, where diners can enjoy gazing at the chefs hard at work.
